Keynote Speaker
David A. Reardon, MD currently is a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and serves as Director of the Center for Neuro-Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute where he is the inaugural recipient of the Alperin Family Chair in Neuro-Oncology.
He previously served as Clinical Director at the Center for Neuro-Oncology at Dana-Farber (12 years) and as the Associate Deputy Director of the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University Medical Center (11 years). He completed his residency at John Hopkins Hospital and his fellowship at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Reardon is an active researcher with special interests in the design and implementation of clinical trials for neuro-oncology and the preclinical evaluation of promising therapeutics for central nervous system tumors. His work includes using innovative clinical therapeutic agents to improve outcome for patients with brain and spinal tumors, with particular focus on immunotherapeutics. He has also led investigations of molecular-targeting agents, anti-angiogenic reagents, cytotoxins and other biologically-based therapies.
Dr. Reardon has published over 420 peer-reviewed manuscripts. He received the R. Wayne Rundles Award for Excellence in Cancer Research as well as the Award for Excellence in Adult Clinical Research by the Society for Neuro-Oncology in 2015 and 2016 and the James D. Griffin, MD Medical Oncology Team Science Award (DFCI). He has contributed to the training of 54 neuro-oncology fellows. He also served as the tenth president of the Society for Neuro-Oncology.
IN8bio Speakers
William Ho is a company Co-Founder and has served as our President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director of IN8bio since its inception. Mr. Ho has worked in the biotechnology industry for nearly 24 years. Prior to the founding of IN8bio, from 2014 to 2017, Mr. Ho was the Founder and Managing Partner at AlephPoint Capital, a private healthcare investment fund. Prior to that, Mr. Ho was at New Leaf Venture Partners, a leading healthcare venture capital firm, where he launched and managed the public investments and cross-over portfolio and served as its Public Investment Director from 2010 to 2014.
Previously, Mr. Ho served as a Senior Equity Research Analyst at Bank of America from 2006 to 2009 and an Equity Research Analyst at Piper Jaffray & Co. from 2003 to 2006, covering the biotechnology and life-science tools sectors. Earlier in his career, Mr. Ho was responsible for FP&A and operational analysis at CuraGen Corporation and worked as an Associate on the Healthcare Investment Banking team at Cowen, Inc. Mr. Ho was an inductee into the McMaster University Alumni Gallery in 2020 and previously served as a member of their Dean’s Advisory Board for the Faculty of Science. Mr. Ho received an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and a B.S. in Biochemistry from McMaster University.
Dr. Lawrence Lamb leads scientific and translational strategy as scientific co-founder, Executive Vice President, and Chief Scientific Officer of IN8bio. He received a Master’s in Nursing with AOCN Board Certification in Oncology from the University of South Carolina and a PhD in Experimental Pathology with a concentration in inflammatory lung disease and macrophage biology followed by postdoctoral fellowships in molecular evolution and transplantation immunology and certification as a clinical laboratory immunologist. While at the South Carolina Cancer Center, he was the first to describe the association between relapse-free survival and homeostatic γδT cell recovery in high-risk leukemia patients.
Continuing this work as an Associate Professor and later Professor of Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Dr. Lamb developed the scientific support for chemotherapy-resistant γδT cell-based immunotherapy for high-grade brain tumors. This work eventually led to the formation of IN8bio. Over the course of his career, Dr. Lamb’s work has been funded by the NCI, NHLBI, NCRR, NINDS, the Children’s Oncology Group, the Elsa Pardee Foundation, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and the National Brain Tumor Foundation including the Samuel Gerson Leadership Chair for Glioblastoma Research eventually leading to successful IND approvals for leukemia and glioblastoma investigator-initiated Phase I trials in collaboration with IN8bio and a robust corporate pipeline of γδT cell focused therapies.
Kate Rochlin, PhD, serves as President and Chief Operating Officer, bringing more than 15 years of leadership experience across early-stage biotechnology, company building, and strategic operations. Since joining the company in 2020, she has played a central role in shaping corporate strategy, strengthening operational execution, advancing intellectual property strategy, and building high-performing cross-functional teams. She was appointed Chief Operating Officer in December 2021 and elevated to President in recognition of her broad leadership impact.
Prior to joining, Dr. Rochlin held senior leadership roles at Curadigm, a Cambridge, MA–based biotechnology company spun out of Nanobiotix, where she most recently served as Chief Business Officer. There, she helped lead the company’s spin-out and built strategic collaborations around a novel platform designed to enhance therapeutic bioavailability. Dr. Rochlin has been recognized for her leadership and impact in biotechnology, including being named one of Crain’s New York Business’ Top Women in Tech.
Patrick McCall has served as our Chief Financial Officer since February 2021. Mr. McCall brings over 20 years of experience in global finance, accounting and capital raising. Prior to joining IN8bio, Mr. McCall was Vice President of Finance at Turnstone Biologics Corp. an international clinical stage biotechnology company, focused on cancer immunotherapies. There he assisted in raising several rounds of financing, a large collaboration with a global pharmaceutical company, an acquisition in the immunotherapy space and led the build out of the company’s finance and accounting functions.
Prior to that Mr. McCall was the Corporate Controller at Catalyst Biosciences, a publicly traded, clinical stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing hemophilia treatments. While at Catalyst Biosciences, Mr. McCall was part of the team that successfully completed the company’s initial public offering and he was responsible for leading the firm’s SEC reporting, accounting, financial planning & analysis and procurement functions. Previously, he spent 11 years in a variety of finance, accounting, and operational roles at companies such as Apple, Chubb and the accounting firm Deloitte as an auditor. Mr. McCall is an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds an M.B.A from Cornell University and a B.S. in Accounting from Drexel University.
